Coach Chris Driscoll says his side believes it can claim this year’s crown and is busting to get preseason underway in a bid to make that dream a reality.
“We’re out to win it this year,” he said.
“We’re very excited about the new season.”
Driscoll said he expected to retain about 90 per cent of his squad which finished fourth and made last season’s semi-final, but was yet to confirm the deperatees.
But he expects that continuity to pay off in a league which sees significant player turnover.
Driscoll and last season’s reserve grade Keith Ramsay will co-coach both teams.
