With loads of tourists in the area for the holiday period, club secretary Sheridan Kay is expecting to see plenty of people roll in for the seven-race program.
“It’s more of a casual race meeting, but we always draw the crowd,” Kay said.
“It’s usually on par with our Melbourne Cup eve crowd.
“We’ve got good fields and the Corowa RSL Club always sponsors this meeting and are proud to come on board.
“We’re really looking forward to it, the track is looking good.”
Hometown trainer Geoff Duryea will be looking for a winner from one of his three acceptances on the day.
Kapover is pitted against stablemate Carlistos in the benchmark 54 handicap race five, while Strategic Lad is in the class one and maiden plate race four.
Gates open at 12pm with the first race under way at 1.35pm.
