A two-year-old girl was killed and eight others injured after the Toyota Hiace minibus collided with a commercial van on Mamre Road at Kemps Creek on Tuesday afternoon.

The 59-year-old front-seat passenger of the minibus was critically injured, and a 23-year-old woman suffered two broken legs. They were taken to Liverpool Hospital, along with a boy and a girl both aged 16.
Three other children - a 10-year-old girl, a three-year-old boy and a nine-month-old boy - were also taken to Westmead. The baby boy was being treated for a broken leg.
Police said everyone travelling in the minibus were understood to be from the same family.
The 50-year-old driver of the commercial van was not injured.
The driver of the minibus, a 20-year-old woman was taken to Westmead Hospital and treated for abrasions.
After her release from hospital, police charged her with 11 offences, including dangerous driving occasioning death, driving with a child not restrained as prescribed, and driving while disqualified.
She was granted conditional bail, and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on December 20.

Investigators are waiting to interview the disqualified learner driver of a mini bus involved in a crash which killed a two-year-old girl from Griffith near Kemps Creek in Sydney on Tuesday afternoon.
A major emergency response was initiated when a Toyota Hiace mini bus, carrying nine people believed to be from Griffith, and a Mercedes Benz commercial van collided head-on.
A police spokesperson said investigators believe the Hiace was being driven south and the commercial van driven north.
It is understood the vehicles collided head-on in the northbound lanes.
A two-year-old girl was critically injured. She died a short time later in The Children’s Hospital, Westmead.
The front-seat passenger in the mini bus, a 59-year-old man, was also critically injured while a 23-year-old woman sitting in the middle row suffered two broken legs.
Both people are being treated in Liverpool Hospital.
A teenage boy and girl, both aged 16, are also being treated in Liverpool Hospital.
A 10-year-old girl and two boys - aged nine months and three years were taken to The Children’s Hospital.
The younger boy is being treated for a broken leg. Injuries to the other children are unknown at this stage.
The woman driving the mini bus, a 20-year-old disqualified learner driver, was taken to Westmead Hospital where she has been treated for abrasions. Police hope to speak with her as soon as she is deemed fit enough.
The driver of the commercial van, a 50-year-old man from Merrylands, escaped serious injury.
