A great crowd of Wagga residents rolled out their rugs, set up their chairs, cracked open the wine and proceeded to dine at the weekly Cork and Fork Festival.
It’s the must-attend Taste Riverina event residents look forward to as the weather warms up, according to Councillor Dan Hayes and it has become cemented in the city’s annual calendar.
Organiser Tim McMullen said the festival was growing in guest numbers and business involvement every year, showcasing local food, local products and local talent.
“For me it’s about seeing the community come, sit down and relax,” Mr McMullen said. “It goes back to the civic area from next week.”
