Allecha Boyd was last seen in Wagga on her way to Coolamon in a green and silver Subaru Outback car on August 10.
On Monday this week, Allecha’s car and belongings were delivered to the family home in Victoria, in a stark reminder that she might not be coming home.
“It’s getting really, really traumatic now,” sister Rhiannon Boyd said.
“I’m having bad dreams. It’s been way too long and I do fear that the worst has happened to her.”
Wagga Crime Manager Detective Inspector Darren Cloake said police are still keeping their options open but hopes are fading as time passes with no word.
“Our main focus is still the local area,” Detective Inspector Cloake said.
“It's frustrating for police but agonising for the family and we are hoping someone will come forward with the key to finding Allecha Boyd.”
