The Demons trained at Robertson Oval on Tuesday night ahead of Sunday’s sudden-death preliminary final against Griffith.
Collingullie-GP followed in the footsteps of Leeton-Whitton, who have been training one night a week at Narrandera Sportsground in recent weeks. It’s a move that has paid dividends for the Crows.
Collingullie-GP captain-coach Luke Gestier said it was beneficial.
“It’s a positive all round. It can be a bit of a drag going to the same place week in, week out, so it was good to freshen the boys up, mentally and physically,” he said.
“We did a few drills that give you a good feel for the ground. It’s obviously a much bigger ground than out at Collingullie so it was good to spread the footy and move the footy well.
“We identified the areas of the ground we want to play through and areas we want to avoid.”
