It comes after national burger chain Grill’d opened its doors on Baylis Street in mid-August and stationery store, Typo announced its plan of arrival to the city.
The name of the stores have been kept secret but Sturt Mall centre manager Kane Harding said they would provide a unique shopping experience for the local community.
“Sturt Mall is committed to providing an engaging retail experience for the local community,” he said.
“We look forward to announcing the arrival of three-well known national fashion brands in the near future.
“Sturt Mall proudly offers convenience and supports shoppers with their everyday shopping needs.”
Local businesses welcomed the three new national retail store chains and said they would provide a healthy knock-on boost to smaller family-owned businesses and the local economy.
Sturt Mall small-business owner Alice Murphy thinks the new stores will be "great" for other smaller shops to trade and grow a customer base off the back of.
She said the higher foot traffic and new faces walking through the shopping centre will provide better opportunities for every store in the precinct to grow and develop within the community.
"I actually think that the three new national retail stores arriving will be good for business," she said.
"It will provide a lot more foot traffic within the shopping centre and as the new stores open, hopefully they will attract more people to the centre and other shops.
"All businesses have got to work together to succeed.
“We all trade off each others' business and if more stores can help fuel that growth, then that's great."
Cotton On will fill an empty space opposite Coles and second empty space remains at the corner of the Baylis Street exit.
