Of specific note, a 21 year-old Picton man driving a truck was stopped and searched by police in Tobruk Street, Ashmont.
Police seized several clear sandwich bags of suspicious plant material, a vial of liquid and some tablets.
The items will be subjected to scientific analysis with charges pending.
Wagga Police Inspector Robert Vergano said while routine, the confiscated items will keep the community safer.
“It’s a win that we’ve taken some drugs off the streets not just for police, its a win for the community,” Inspector Vergano said.
“It’s a win for the person’s child, the son or daughter that’s going to purchase that drug,” he said.
