Wagga Local Area Command Superintendent Bob Noble likes sound of Victorian crash rules, but urges motorists to just slow down

Superintendent Bob Noble says drivers need to take more care around crashes and roadworks.

It comes after calls to introduce a Victorian system where drivers need to slow down to 40km/h around flashing lights.

“That proposal is on the table… (the rules) are under review,” he said.

“But we would encourage people to exercise courtesy and common sense, travel at a safe speed around roadworks, police operations and accidents.

“You don’t want to add to any problems.”
