It comes after calls to introduce a Victorian system where drivers need to slow down to 40km/h around flashing lights.
“That proposal is on the table… (the rules) are under review,” he said.
“But we would encourage people to exercise courtesy and common sense, travel at a safe speed around roadworks, police operations and accidents.
“You don’t want to add to any problems.”
