Michael, 14, won the state final of Australia Post Regional Pitchfest at the state finals.
He pitched The Amazing Annoyatron,a kit designed to introduce children to electronics and coding.
He not only won the $5000 first prize, but also took out the $1500 Community Choice Award, chosen by the audience at the finals in Dubbo on Wednesday night.
The Kooringal High School student will represent NSW at the national final, to be in Wagga on August 18.
