Riverina residents far and wide are searching their sheds and dusting off their precious relics for Wagga’s annual Swap Meet.
With 80 per cent of sites booked, committee member Brian Horsley said the showground would be filled with the weird and wonderful, from antiques to kitchen sinks.
“We usually have a fair amount of rusty relics which some would call junk but the craft people love it, they make all sorts of things out of them,” Mr Horsley said.
“Fingers crossed for some brilliant, sunny weather for the weekend.”
This year’s swap meet will support Wagga charities Riding for the Disabled and Country Hope.
Those still interested in registering for the July 16 meet can contact Steve Medlen on 0458 454 477.
