Manawatu had been under investigation following an on-field complaint made by Young captain-coach James Woolford in the Group Nine game at Alfred Oval last weekend.
The allegation was subsequently referred to the Match Review Committee, but the panel decided no action was necessary.
In a statement on Tuesday, Bidgee regional administrator coordinator Dean Sutherland reported “there was insufficient evidence to bring a charge of Contrary Conduct (Biting)” against Manawatu.
The Match Review Committee looked at video evidence before making their ruling.
