The badge was handed in to the Sturt Mall office, which then gave it to the Wagga sub-branch of the RSL to find the owner.
Sub-branch secretary, Ken May, said on Thursday no-one had yet come forward to claim the badge, date stamped 1948 and carrying the number 13618.
The sub-branch can be contacted by telephoning 6921 3528 during office hours.
