The mystery winner, who will take home $271,755.57 from Saturday’s draw, bought the ticket at the Griffin Plaza Newsagency, but was not registered. Lotteries spokesman Matt Hart urged anyone who purchased a ticket from the newsagency in Saturday’s draw to check it as soon as possible.
The winning numbers in Lotto draw 3731 were 30, 13, 11, 18, 24 and 21. The supplementary numbers were 15 and 27.
“We all know the start of a new week can be a busy time as people head back to work and their daily lives,” he said.
“Somewhere out there is our mystery winner who could have forgotten to check the Saturday Lotto ticket they bought.”
“Imagine winning a quarter of a million dollars but not knowing it. It is the type of news that could really turn your week around – especially on a Monday.”
Griffin Plaza Newsagency owner Manjit Lally said the store was eagerly waiting for the lucky winner to check their ticket and come forward.
“We would love to break the news to one of our lucky customers,” he said.
“It is our first division one winner since taking over the store last year.”
The entry was one of 15 division one winners nationally, three of who lived in NSW.
