The House Husbands and Play School star credits the city with being an ideal filming spot, as well as the reason for his very existence.
“My mum and dad both trained in the air force here,” Mr Muldoon said.
“If it weren’t for Wagga, I might not be on this earth.”
The seasoned actor said it had been a joy to film in town, even if things did get off to a rocky start.
“There’s a bet in the film where the loser has to run around the town naked and I lost the bet,” he said with a smile.
“So I ended up in an alleyway on a freezing cold day, walking around naked all morning.”
But it has been smooth sailing otherwise.
“It's just a wonderful location,” Mr Muldoon said.
“The people have been great, from every pub we’ve been at, to just walking down the street.”
