More than 85 participants took part in the event, in its eighth year in Wagga, in the ultimate history flashback.
Vice president Paul Willis said the event was well received by spectators and participants alike.
“The fighting is full impact – once they get over the roughness you just see them smile,” Mr Willis said.
There was more than fighting to entertain with arts, science and acting classes, medieval headwear construction, and a history of tea session.
Mr Willis said it was great to see experienced fighters showing the younger fighters the ropes.
“There’s been a lot of mentoring going on – it’s all about the improvement,” he said.
