The Blues won three of the four grades, with fourth grade the only side to lose, for an emphatic victory over Lake Albert.
It is the second time in the three years the cup has been played for that South Wagga has claimed honours.
Both club’s first grade teams will now have the weekend off to help the Wagga Sloggers prepare for the Regional Bash finals on the Sydney Cricket Ground.
With the Sloggers to play Orana Outlaws at 10am on Sunday, all first grade matches won’t be played on Saturday.
Instead the round six clashes, the first of the two-day fixtures, will be played over the following Saturday and Sunday.
The move was made to ensure the best preparation for the match at NSW’s home of cricket.
Second, third and fourth grade will continue next week as normal.
