Wagga Live’s New Years Eve celebrations are set to welcome 2017 with a line up of music, food and fireworks set to entertain families.
Branded “Revolution”, the live event has a Beatles-era theme, featuring a selection of music hits from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s & 90’s.
Catherine Alcorn and Darren Coggan will headline the festivities, supported by The Mighty Yak, The Convicts and the Groove Factorie.
Organisers have also announced that a The Daily Advertiser-sponsored concert will mark the launch of the event at midday this Friday, December 2.
Event manager at Committee 4 Wagga Prue Francis said she is looking forward to the launch, and welcoming Mr Coggan back to his hometown.
“What a great way to spend your lunchtime with free music in the park, bring your lunch and a hat, relax and enjoy the NYE launch and preview of the spectacular NYE event,” she said.
“You are invited to come along on Friday and experience a sample of our great line up for NYE 2016.”
The Civic Precinct will come alive on New Year’s Eve with amazing entertainment on two stages, fireworks and a huge variety of food stalls.
