After making the switch to Junee two seasons ago, the pair have inked new deals with the Wagga club.
Brothers captain-coach Ben Black was thrilled to have secured to high-profile signings.
“It is good to have two quality players with a lot of experience to help us out,” Black said.
Little’s brilliance makes him one of the most potent weapons in Group Nine.
Black believes he will provide a huge boost to the Brothers back line stocks.
“He has that X factor,” Black said.
“When Pete wants to play he is probably one of the best centres in the competition so we are looking forward to having him on board.
“He is a game breaker, he scores tries and will be a good acquisition to our side.”
Black believes Merritt will add plenty of quality to the forward pack.
“Will is going to be very strong for us up the middle,” he said.
“We have missed a bit of go forward and being strong in the middle so with him, Patty (Sagigi) and Brayden (Sharrock) on board I think we are going to be very strong up the middle.”
It is the second time Little has been at Brothers.
He and Merritt joined the Diesels following the Bulls’ 2014 grand final loss.
After being part of top three finishes in the past two seasons, the loss of Little and Merritt only compounds a slow off-season for the Diesels.
After Patrick Sagigi’s move was announced last week, the Diesels have officially locked in Matt Hands as captain-coach but are yet to secure any new faces.
