Organiser Carol Stewart was thrilled with the turnout.
“It was fantastic, we averaged about 140 people through each studio, which was a great result,” Mrs Stewart said. “There were a lot of new faces we didn’t see last time, we nearly all sold something and lots of people were booking art classes and that makes us very happy.”
Lots of visitors brought their children along to see the inner workings of a studio, such as six-year-old Abigail Toohey and four-year-old Clyde, who enjoyed Mrs Stewart’s studio.
“We had a lot of children come along who loved to paint,” Mrs Stewart said.
“We got a lot of great feedback.”
The Wagga Art Trail was launched earlier this year and Mrs Stewart said the place was to run it twice a year, on the first weekend in March and November.
“We may have different artists each time, but it’s about getting the private studios out there,” Mrs Stewart said.
