Teams will contest three different grades, A, B and C and will play continuously each Saturday until and including Saturday, December 17.
After the traditional five-week break to coincide with the school vacation, the competition will resume on Saturday, January 28, with finals starting on March 18, culminating in the grand finals being played on April 1.
Sadly only three clubs have nominated teams for the A Grade competition, with notable omissions being Blu-Js and Lake Albert.
This follows the absence of Kooringal from the competition last season.
To give the A Grade players maximum playing time over the season, a draw has been devised which sees each of the three teams play six games (including a double-header) and have a bye in any six week period.
Following two ‘six week periods’, the teams will then play each other once in the last three weeks of competition, before finals commence on March 18.
Reigning premiers, South Wagga Warriors will meet their grand final opponent of the past two years, Turvey Park, in the opening match of the season, which will be limited to 75 minutes duration.
Turvey will then follow that with a maximum seven innings game against Saints.
The B Grade comp has just four teams this season, whilst C grade has seven.
Meanwhile the Male League will get underway on Monday night next, October 31, with four teams in A grade and five in B grade.
