Casella, Francesco Polimeni and Andre Turner are each charged with knowingly taking part in the cultivation of prohibited plants and participating in a criminal group.
Casella, Polimeni and Turner were arraigned in the Downing Centre District Court on Friday.
A trial date of July 24 was set for Casella and Turner.
Polimeni’s trial date was not available late Friday afternoon.
The men were charged after police discovered 2750 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $5 million on a Crowther property. They were committed to stand trial in August.
