Enter the St John’s Anglican Church where musicians will be playing live from 9.45am on Saturday.
Sit and surround yourself in the sights and smells of flowers and floral arrangements straight from the gardens of church parishioners.
Feast your eyes on the floral-themed art works that will line the church walls.
And when you get hungry, a small fee will get you homemade treats.
“It’s an opportunity to come and sit and listen and watch,” co-ordinator Anne Carpenter said.
Money raised from the festival will be donated to the palliative care unit at the Forrest Centre.
The festival was first held in 2000 but parishioners have taken a break, returning this year to continue to raise money for the community.
“It’s a way for people to see the church is part of the whole community,” Ms Carpenter said.
The Festival of Flowers, Music and Art will be held on October 15 from 9.45am for $5 entry.
