Teys huge $50M expansion at Bomen still on track
The $50 million expansion of Teys’ Wagga plant is on track, according to Tom Maguire, general manager of corporate services for the meat processor.

When completed, the plant will be able to process 1429 carcasses, up from the current limit of 1275 per day.
The expansion, announced in July last year, will mean a 25 per cent improvement in efficiency at the Bomen site.
Mr Maguire told The Daily Advertiser last year no job losses would occur despite dramatic reduction in manual handling.
