Her upcoming wedding to Josh Smith is a story they will be telling for years to come.
The Tumut couple were announced as the winners of the Sunrise Marry in the Morning $100,000 dream wedding package on air on Wednesday.
“When they said our name, I couldn’t believe it,” Miss Preston said.

Miss Preston and Mr Smith have been engaged since December, 2015 but had made no wedding plans.
The 27-year-old had always dreamed of planning her wedding with her mother, who died from cancer six years ago.
“Since I lost mum, it’s taken away from it,” she said.
“Now we have this, it’s just perfect.”
Miss Preston entered the show’s competition at the last minute, barely submitting her video on time.
She received calls from Sunrise producers saying they had made it to the top five then top three couples.
A live cross on Wednesday morning revealed the Tumut couple as the winners.
“I’m still in shock,” Miss Preston said.
“It doesn’t feel like it’s happening.”
The flowers, photographer, hair and makeup, venue, reception, ceremony, cake, flights and accommodation have been taken care of.
Miss Preston just needs to find a dress.
“That’s the most stressful part,” she said.
Eight guests will be present at the wedding before 20 of the couple’s closest family and friends join them for a reception.
About 10 cameras will film the wedding but Miss Preston said she’s choosing not to be nervous.
“We may as well lap it up while we can,” she said.
“At least there’ll be plenty of good footage.”
“The ceremony is live but the reception isn’t so we can relax and enjoy it like a normal wedding.”
A banner reading ‘Congratulations Josharna’, a nickname given to them by Sunrise host David Koch, is hanging above the pub.
The couple plan on having a big party in Tumut when they return.
Miss Preston met Mr Smith at their local pub about seven years ago.
“I thought he was pretty cute,” she said.
The couple will be married live on Sunrise from the Hayman Islands from 8am on October 21.
