The Riverina Truck Show and Kids Convoy returned to the city for the third year with 20 cars and 105 trucks.
They snaked their way through Wagga before settling at Lake Albert, where almost 8000 people came to have a look at the vehicles on display and surrounding market stalls.
“I don’t know how to describe it, it was just a laid-back atmosphere,” treasurer Lloyd Wishart said.
“We want everyone to know we are going to be here for as long as they want us.
“We want to try and improve the image of the truck drivers and make them more approachable.”
The event raised money for Give me 5 For Kids, Amie St Clair Melanoma Trust, Riding for Disabled, Trans-Help Foundation and NETS NSW.
