Among a host of crashes this week, a driver was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a head-on collision in wet conditions at Cootamundra on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, another driver was also hospitalised when his car veered off the road in slippery conditions on the Burley Griffin Way near Wallendbeen on Thursday morning.
“People need to expect the unexpected in this weather,” Griffith council road safety officer Greg Balind said.
“Road conditions can change around each corner, especially in the Cootamundra and Temora areas at the moment.”
