It was all one-way traffic at Robertson Oval as Tigers made light work of the Bulldogs, running out winners 24.20 (164) to 1.2 (8).
It was a strong response from Wagga Tigers, after they crashed to their first defeat of the season one week earlier against Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes.
Tigers came out firing with a seven-goal opening term and never looked back from there.
Teenage talent Brendan Myers booted the first three goals of the game, on his way to a six-goal haul.
John Buchanan extended his lead in the league goalkicking with an eight-goal bag.
Wagga Tigers captain-coach Shaun Campbell was pleased with the way his team fixed certain areas of their game.
“We worked on a few things that we didn’t do against Mango, we kicked straighter, ran the game out and our decision making was a lot better, so it was all good,” Campbell said.
“We were good out of the middle too.
“I’m really happy with the way we bounced back and worked on everything we wanted to work on.”
Nick McCormack was Tigers best, playing a strong game in defence, while utility Lahn Shepherd and Myers were not far behind.
Evan Smith was again Turvey Park’s best, while Lachie McRae and Tim Doyle battled hard.
Dane Campbell picked up an injury for Turvey Park and did not finish the game.
