NOTHING happened last Wednesday due to the temperature being down near the zero mark and the gathered likely starters all opted for more hot coffee rather than braving the elements.

Saturday meet and greet saw a good roll up with the usual discussions on how to run the country and how to save the world.
On Saturday evening 12 members attended the Christmas in July at the William Farrer Hotel.
From all reports it was a good night and the entertainer wasn’t too shabby.
Twelve bods on 11 bikes went off on the scheduled run to Tallangatta with some new faces on the scene. First stop was Culcairn on the way down and coffee was top of the list along with a short comfort stop.
From there, through Albury and Wodonga to Tallangatta for lunch at the Hotel.
After lunch the tour took in the Granya Gap and the Wymah Ferry, then through Holbrook and Home.
The annual swap meet was held at the Wagga Showgrounds on Sunday and the Toy Run Committee held a firewood raffle with wood donated by Mark Kennedy.
We had a good day with the winning ticket was drawn out of the barrel by Andrew McTaggart and the winner was M McIntyre of McLeay Street in Wagga.
The raffle was drawn at 2.15pm and we had the load of firewood delivered by 3.15pm, can’t get much better service than that.
Last night was our monthly branch meeting with a fair turn out on a cold night. The next ride will be the gathering of the branches at the Morundah Hotel where Mein Host turns on a fantastic bistro style meal. That will be on August 7.
On August 21 it will be off to Bribbaree which is at the base of The Wedddin Mountains National Park or for the more educated, out Grenfell way.
Following that we then have the Tri Branch weekend in Griffith on September 9-11 and we will give you more on that as we get closer to the date.
So things are starting to move along and hopefully the days will start to warm up again with a little less rain on ride days.
