Blonde beauty Bre Gorman was last week paired with cravat-wearing law student Oliver, who has made no secret on the show he finds women intimidating.
Yesterday, the 18-year-old Barbie enthusiast invited The Daily Advertiser into her pink Wagga apartment to discuss her time on the series while she gets used to her new-found fame in Wagga.
And she revealed she has a new best friend a nine-week-old Chihuahua-cross Cavalier King Charles named Tuck.
"I bought Tuck the other day, I've always wanted a Chihuahua to be like Barbie, and I walked into a pet shop this week and I knew he was the one for me," she said.
"It's been great being back in Wagga now the show's over, it's been really weird when I'm walking down the street sometimes people do a double-take.
"There's been a lot of little girls who have come up to me and asked me about the show."
Despite some people questioning whether Beauty and the Geek portrays true reality, Bre said she learnt a lot from the experience and people were really how they seemed.
"I think Beauty and the Geek has a really nice message to it. It's about getting to know other people and not judging them on their appearance and making assumptions about who they are."
Miss Gorman revealed she hadn't actually had time to sit down and watch herself properly on television because she's been working at The Farmers Home Hotel while it airs, but friends and family visit her and watch it there while she's busy working away.
"My mum is so proud of me, she cries every time someone mentions it and she comes down and watches the show every week," she said.
With a $100,000 prize up for grabs for the winning beauty-geek couple, Miss Gorman is remaining tight-lipped on whether she makes it to the end.
"You'll have to watch the show for that," she said, laughing.
