That’s the view of TAB media manager Glenn Munsie.
Munsie reported that there has been no big mover in the Gold Cup but expects plenty of money to come on Friday.
The most money up until Thursday night had come for Messene, Adirondack and Rhodin Drive. Messene is the $3.20 favourite.
“The three favourites have been best supported,” Munsie said.
“There hasn’t been any big moves. I think they are waiting to see the field, see whose coming before weighing in.”
Munsie revealed that promising three-year-old Challenge Accepted has been the best backed horse on Gold Cup day with TAB.
He has been backed from $8.50 into $5.00 in the $60,000 Guineas.
The Town Plate was TAB’s best result of the day despite Just A Blur firming from $13 into $7. Kingia was also well backed in the last, coming in from $11 into $6.00.
