Rogers has decided to accept a one-game suspension for bumping and making high contact to Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong teenager Matt Knagge in last Saturday’s big win over the Lions.
AFL Riverina offered Rogers the one-game penalty after his actions were graded as careless, medium impact and high contact.
He risked an extra game if he unsuccessfully challenged the decision.
Rogers has played an important role in the Goannas’ opening two wins after stepping up and filling the ruck role while Andrew Dickins has been out injured.
