THE spate of illegal firearms continues with a 68-year-old man found in possession of a sawn-off shotgun. Wagga police attended a Slocum Street address on Wednesday morning, where a search uncovered the shotgun and two vials of steroids. Charges pending against him include possessing an unlicensed firearm, possessing a shortened firearm, not keeping firearm safe and possessing steroids. It follows a 22-year-old woman charged with possessing a shortened .22 calibre rifle on Monday.
