“At this stage, it looks like possibly he was hit by a horse trailer or something of that nature,” said Wagga police duty officer, Inspector Peter McLay, stressing that investigations were at a very early point.
The man was found deceased by a friend on a Burrandana Road, Mangoplah, property just after 2pm, Inspector MacLay said.
Paramedics and police from Wagga raced to the farm after the alarm was raised.
Detectives from Wagga are on scene, while Forensic Service Group officers from Albury are on their way, Inspector McLay said.
