More than 1000 mourners gathered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church to farewell Fr Rafe Beltrame, a long-serving priest who passed away on December 18.
Mourners spilled out of the church and packed a hall and two marquees to pay their respect to Fr Beltrame, who spent more than 35 years in Griffith. Twenty-five priests and four deacons attended the funeral.
