Frith has returned to Wagga following a Perth campaign but what’s next for the star mare is yet to be decided.
The seven time group one winner was a well beaten last in her attempt to break through the million dollar barrier earlier this month but she hasn’t seemed to have taken any ill effects.
It was the one positive from a disappointing trip west for owners Dianne and Bernie Kelly.
“She pulled up good,” Bernie said.
“I was worried as I thought something had to be wrong.”
The mare arrived back at Kelly’s stable on Tuesday and will continued to be worked up until a decision is made about her racing future.
Although unsure where her next home will be, the experienced horseman believes she won’t be in the Riverina for too long.
“A horse like her needs to be down there where the races are, Menangle or Melton,” he said.
“We will have to do a bit of thinking, sort things out and do what we think is best.”
