THE Riverina League has lost Jim Quinn Medallist, Jayden Kotzur.
The outgoing Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong coach has signed with Tallangatta League club Thurgoona for next year.
Kotzur announced late in the season that he would not coach the Lions again in 2016, but had not ruled out staying on as a player.
He was pursued heavily by a number of clubs across the Riverina but a move back to Albury virtually ruled GGGM out.
Kotzur said he loved his three years at GGGM.
“It was definitely a tough decision to leave,” Kotzur said.
“GGGM have been awesome to us for three years. We have made some brilliant friends and we will miss the place but I’m sure we will get back to watch ha few games.
“In the end family and a new business venture have taken us back to Albury.”
Kotzur joins a number of former Albury Tigers premiership teammates at Thurgoona.
