The Sunrise crew cruised through the Riverina to film for the show’s popular weather segment.
After visiting a shearing shed in Junee, the crew headed to Wagga to sample delicious coffee at Trail Street and see what else the city has to offer.
“We’ve all kind of passed through (Wagga) but it’s nice to spend a few days here,” Bartholomew said.
“It’s rare for us to have a day somewhere.”
Bartholomew previously visited Wagga during the 2012 floods.
She was taking the crew to the beach to paddle board down the river when the five o’clock wave hit our shores.
Bartholomew has been on the road since January and visited some of Australia’s most beautiful and fascinating attractions.
“It’s often less about the weather and more about where we are going,” she said.
“I’m a journalist, not a meteorologist.
“We love to showcase things that people otherwise wouldn’t normally see.”
Bartholomew invited all Wagga residents to come to the beach to be a part of the broadcast from 6am to 8.30am tomorrow morning.
