
Wagga will play host to the second race in the Indigenous Drivers Invitation Series on Saturday night.
Eight drivers from across the state will travel to Wagga.
The Riverina will be represented by Albury resinsman Royce Gregory-Jack.
Gregory-Jack didn't take part in the first race at Bathurst but been drawn to drive Mean Courage for Shane Hillier.
He will start from barrier eight in the Michael Brown Planning Strategies Indigenous Drivers Invitation (2165m) with final of the series to be held at Menangle later this month.
The club is also holding the Football Premiers Cup, with premiership winners from the region invited to celebrate.
Chief executive Graeme White said to accomodate the occasion there will be a Welcome to Country and smoke ceremony performed by Leeton’s Jim Ingram as well as children dancing.
The first race of eight races starts at 6.07pm.
