Hot October long weekend
A sudden increase in temperature this long weekend could have residents mistaken that summer has come early.
The mercury was predicted to his 30 degrees yesterday and 33 degrees today and tomorrow, which is only 3.3 degrees below the highest recorded October temperature in Wagga in 2006.
The average temperature so far this month is 25.7 degrees which is 4.2 degrees above the normal average.
The hottest October day so far was on Saturday, according to the Elders website, at 27.3 degrees.
