Big weekend coming up
The township of Lockhart is gearing up for a big three days starting with the Lockhart Picnic Races on Friday, October 9, followed by the Spirit of the Land Lockhart Festival on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11.
With a forecast of excellent weather the weekend will be a great opportunity to visit Lockhart at its absolute best.
With the excellent weather we have been enjoying there is a great opportunity to explore our local reserves, The Rock Hill and Galore Hill, both offer outstanding views across the area as well as a great opportunity to see local flora and fauna.
Why not enjoy a drive through Lockhart Shire with luscious green and gold crops providing excellent opportunities for landscape photographs.

Bowling club annual general meeting approaches

The Bowling Club will be open on Saturday for the AFL grand final. On Sunday, October 4, the NRL grand final is on Come along and watch these great events on the big screen and enjoy our hospitality.
