Consumers were given the chance to get to know the producers of their food at this year's Henty Machinery Field Days.
The Farm Gate section provides field day goers the chance to taste, smell and talk about fresh, locally grown produce.
Over the last five years, the section has been steadily growing with this year shaping up to be one of the best.
Farm Gate Chair Jason Crowley from Crowley hot sauce said the area is recognised more now.
“People will come through the gates and come straight down here to have a look before going to look at the rest of the field day,” he said.
The criteria for the stall holders in the Farm Gate area is to either be the producer of the product or to be very close to the producer.
“They get to talk to the producers and hear the stories of how it is made,” Mr Crowley said.
