SPRING Street Festival patrons will have the chance to help out farmers in need across NSW.
While the festival is free, festival goers will be able to make a gold coin donation to the Buy a Bale campaign.
The donations will be used to assist drought stricken farmers by enabling the purchase of a bale of hay or feed when it is most needed.
Representative of Buy a Bale Charles Alder will be present to address festival attendees on how their donations will assist.
Festival sponsors Wagga City Council, Riverina Livestock Agents and Riverina Fresh are also supporting.
Riverina Livestock Agents manager Brenden Halden welcomed the festival.
“It is great to see something supporting the local agricultural industry, as it is the backbone of our region,” he said.
“Agriculture is a great industry asset of the Riverina.”
