The teams are on a relatively even footing, having drawn against one another in an earlier round, however, a clear winner will be decided on Wednesday afternoon.
Representatives from both teams believe they have what it takes to win.
In a titillating semi final, TRAC came from behind to defeat Kooringal High School, and captain Ivan Moi played a major role in the victory.
“The winning goal in the semi-final, that was an unreal feeling cause I got the boys over the line,” Moi said.
“I just wanted to win, to make the school proud, make myself proud.”
Wagga High’s Sam Jenkins’ said his team had the most fun when they employed a bit of role reversal when sweeper Isaac De Vries had a stint in goals.
“The school didn’t have clearance from his doctor, so we played him in goals and with our goalie Brad Yeomans on the field it was pretty funny,” Jenkins said.
It’s crunch time now, and with the whole team cleared to play in their usual position, success is in their grasp.
“We’ve got a good team this year so why not go in with confidence?”
