But coach David Pieper has reminded his players that it’s premierships, not appearances, that count.
“All we've done so far is we've got an opportunity,” Pieper said.
With two finals under their belt, the Pies now need to manage a week off.
Pieper said they won’t do anything different midweek ahead of the decider, but they’ll add a training run next Saturday before watching the preliminary final.
“It's a long two weeks now, is the only thing,” he said, with a smile.
“But it's the way we wanted to do it, we wanted to go straight in.”
