Superintendent Noble welcomed Wagga City Councillor Paul Funnell’s campaign to deliver at least one one sergeant and four officers to the Wagga local area command (LAC) in the next budget after he launched a petition earlier this month.
It would allow us to dedicate a little bit more time to the pursuit of the more complex investigations.

More than 1000 people have signed the petition that will be presented to parliament once it has garnered 10,000 signatures, while the online complimentary petition launched two days ago has already drawn hundreds of signatures.
“It would allow us to dedicate a little bit more time to the pursuit of the more complex investigations around ongoing supply, manufacturing and large movements of drugs,” Superintendent Noble said.
He added the LAC had a good drug investigation capacity – witnessed by an anti-drug operation in June that resulted in mass arrests – but welcomed any additional resources. Sign the petition online at petition.waggadrugsquad.com
