COOLAMON Comets Friday night social netball grand final is on Friday, August 28 with Allsorts set to play Snatchers in what will be a fun, exciting and challenging game of netball.
Both teams have been a force to be reckoned with this season and met in last week’s semi-final where Allsorts won 15-11 to advance straight into the final.
Snatchers fought back to win against Top Pub 13-9 in the second semi and will now go head to head in a semi-final rematch.
Good luck to both teams and all players are welcome to the Top Pub afterwards for the presentation night.
A huge thank you must also go to the organisers of the comp, whose dedication helped to make this year’s comp another success.
Family fun at library
COOLAMON Shire Library Storytime will be held on Friday, September 4 at 10.30am with the theme “families”.
New families welcome to attend.
Redemption time
IT IS not too late to purchase tickets for Coolamon’s local dance school, Dance Whisper’s annual dance concert Redemption on Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5 at 6.30pm at the Coolamon Central School Hall.
Adult tickets are $20 and children are $10.

Royal Flying Doctor visit
AFTER being a major attraction at this year’s successful Ganmain Show, The Royal Flying Doctor Service flight simulator will be visiting many shire schools giving students a rare insight into planes and what Royal Flying Doctors do on a day-to-day basis.
It visited Matong Public yesterday, Coolamon Central today, and Marrar Public tomorrow.
