In one of the most tense finishes to a season imaginable, phones and calculators were in full swing on Saturday as Marrar, Coleambally and the Northern Jets all still had a chance of finishing fifth during the final quarter on Saturday.
Marrar just needed to win; the Blues were sweating on a North Wagga win as well as their own; and at Ariah Park, the Jets were racking up a big score and hoping both rivals would fall over.
In the end, Coly prevailed.
