Former Wagga boy Jarryd Byrne and dance partner Ash Pollard could win the competition, according to Dancing With The Stars judge Helen Richey.
Their Argentine Tango routine was described as “incredible”, “mesmerising” and “hypnotic” by the judges as they gave another impressive performance for Sunday night’s Rio theme.
This was the first time Byrne had choreographed the technically-challenging dance for the show and he was praised for his ability to produce a stunning routine outside of his comfort zone.
The couple are currently sitting in third position on the leader board with a score of 36 and with a double elimination looming next week, the public’s vote is more crucial than ever.
