Star Giants forward Jon Patton spearheaded the Giants to a 92-point victory over Eastlake in their one-off North Eastern Australian Football League (NEAFL) clash at Robertson Oval.
While Patton led the charge up forward, Riverina’s teens made the most of their chance to line-up for the Giants with eye-catching performances.
Jock Cornell was a standout for the Giants and gave his AFL prospects a huge boost with an impressive display, as did Narrandera big man Matt Flynn.
Riverina’s full-time Giants, Jake Barrett and Jacob Townsend, continued to press their claims for senior selection with strong games.
The Giants won 20.9 (129) to 5.7 (37).
